Inspiration
1 Thessalonians 5:21, “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good,” encourages us to test everything we encounter in life and retain only what is true and beneficial. In a world full of voices, ideas, and influences, we are called to be discerning. Not everything that is presented to us is valuable or truthful, and the Bible urges us to measure everything against the standard of God's Word. This includes the teachings we hear, the advice we receive, and the beliefs we hold. Wisdom comes when we know how to sift through the noise and identify what aligns with God’s will and truth. Once we have discerned what is good, we are called to hold fast to it, making it a permanent part of our lives. This means living according to those things that build our faith, promote righteousness, and draw us closer to God.
