Inspiration
God is a loving parent who desires to give good things to His children. His promises to do what He says are replete in scripture giving us assurance and strengthening our faith. Our trust in His ability to deliver on what He has promised motivates us in our approach to Him in prayer. Knowing that God is not a man that would lie or go back on His word encourages us to hold on to Him even when there seems to be a delay in response to the request. Whether we bind God to His word by making a vow or not, we should know that God is always committed to us and meeting our needs. As long as we are doing His will and obeying His commands, there is a sure guarantee that He will perfect all that concerns us.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You, Father, for Your abiding presence. I am grateful for Your love and care for a mortal being like me. I thank You because I know You have always had my interests at heart. Help me not to doubt You, Lord. Give me the strength and patience to keep holding on to You until my answer comes. No matter what hardships I encounter or what problems life brings my way, they will all work out for my good. Help me align my will with Yours and enable me to trust You to fulfill all that You have promised. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
