Inspiration
It is an understatement to say that the disruptive chaos and uncertainty in our everyday life in the past couple of years have been shaking the core of people’s confidence in what the world has to offer them. Families we believed would always be a trip away become unreachable. Churches we believed would always be open have been shut. Cities that were filled with people suddenly became empty. In the midst of the chaos, many people feel hopeless. However, Jesus remains the same. Neither has He changed nor will He. This verse reminds us that the Lord our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His love for us never changes, and we can always lean on Him for strength. Amidst the upheavals around the world, Jesus assures us not to let our hearts be troubled (John 14:1). We can live in peace knowing Jesus remains our cornerstone, even in turbulent times. No matter what happens tomorrow, next month, or in the years to come, we can rely on Him. As the world seems to be crumbling down around us, we have the confidence that Jesus is with us no matter what.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I know You are listening to me at this very moment, and it humbles me deeply. You are the Creator of the Old Testament and the Lamb of the New Testament. Your powers have not been diluted with time, and You are always in control of our lives. I praise You for that and magnify You in my life. Thank You for always being with me, protecting me, guiding me, and loving me unconditionally. Thank You for always being the same yesterday, today, and forever. I pray for Your continuous protection, provision, and love. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen.
