Inspiration
Hebrews 5:14 reminds us, “But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” Here, the author highlights the difference between spiritual immaturity and maturity. Just as a child begins with milk and gradually moves to solid food, so too do believers mature in their understanding of God’s Word. The “strong meat” represents deeper, more complex truths that require spiritual discernment and maturity. This maturity comes not just from reading the Bible but from using it—applying its principles in daily life. By practicing and exercising our faith, we learn to distinguish between right and wrong, good and evil. Maturity in Christ is about growing in the ability to make wise, God-honoring decisions.
