Inspiration
Has there been a time in your life when you worked so hard that you became tired due to stress or exhaustion? Expectant women do have periodic spasms of tiredness. Athletes too can experience this. It is believed medically that low blood sugar levels or even fatigue can make us feel like strength is ebbing out of our bodies. The advice is to increase sugar or calorie intake so as to correct the anomaly and have the body in perfect condition. In life, certain situations make us frustrated, disillusioned and leaves us without strength to continue. As humans, we thrive, blossom and live by doing things that gives us joy, satisfaction and fulfillment. But we can get tired, become powerless and lack the inner strength to forge ahead when things do not work according to our expectations. Is there anything we can do to make sure our minds and spirits are in perfect condition? Life is full of ups and downs, highs and lows. During our low moments that gets us wearied, worn out or even depressed, however, we can count on God for strength. These low moments can be suffering, prolonged affliction, oppression, sickness, failure or loss. It might be a character flaw, an addiction or a sinful habit that one has struggled with for a long time. We can trust God to give us strength and get us back on our feet regardless of how helpless and incapacitated we might be.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for hearing me when I call and saving me in times of trouble. I bless You for standing by me always, for staying true to Your promise never to leave nor forsake me. Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am weak and that the arm of flesh cannot help me. I ask that Your grace will come through for me and be sufficient in times of weakness. Give me the power to overcome every weakness orchestrated by the enemy to deny me of Your blessings. Increase my strength so I can live in victory every day of my life. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.
