Inspiration
At birth, the mind of an infant is empty, devoid of mental thought. As he grows, his mind is filled with knowledge derived from interacting with the environment using his senses. This experiential knowledge forms the basis of his ideologies, belief system, and attitude. Since the world is corrupt, being ruled by the Devil, and man lives on Earth, his experience is tainted with flawed practices, and he lives according to corrupt traditions. This is because he has inherited a sinful nature and is born into an evil world. He became a sinner at birth because sin has been inscribed in the DNA of all humanity through the first Adam. However, when he becomes born of God, he receives a new spirit with the nature of God. He becomes a member of God's family; he is a partaker of the higher life that is in God through Christ Jesus. He is no longer of this world, though he lives in it. He is born from above and is no longer under the influence of the god of this world. As he interacts with the word of God and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, he is transformed inside out. Circumstances do not limit this new person. He overcomes all challenges that come his way. He is born from above; he is born of God. If this description fits you, then congratulations. But if not, accept Jesus Christ as your LORD today and enjoy your new life in God.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the privilege of being a member of Your family and the benefit of calling You Abba. I am thankful for the abundant life in Jesus. In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am born of God, and by virtue of my new birth, sin no longer has power over me. Give me strength and wisdom to overcome every challenge that comes my way, Lord. Please keep sickness, poverty, unfruitfulness, and sinful habits out of my life. Help me live victories now and forever. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
