Verse
Jude 1:24
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
- Glory
- Power
- Faith
- Assurance
- Righteousness
Inspiration
God is able to keep us from falling into temptations that test our resolve to live righteous lives. Isn’t it interesting how God has expectations of His children, yet He still takes the burden of making us succeed? What an amazing Father! We may have fears about failing in righteousness. We may sincerely love God and want to serve and obey Him, yet fear that we may fail Him. We don’t have to harbor such fears because this verse declares God’s stance on the matter of righteousness and salvation. All you have to do is trust God and His power to keep you from stumbling. You must believe that God is able to save you from sin that severs your relationship with Him. God is willing and able to help you do all that He expects of you. He can strengthen you to live a holy and acceptable life in this corrupt world. Just as Lot was preserved in a land of sin and iniquity, God is committed to making believers prosper in holiness. You need to realize that God is intentional about your salvation. He’s the author and finisher of your faith. He starts the journey with you and takes you safely through it until you come out victorious over the world.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I’m so excited by the revelation of Your commitment to my spiritual preservation. In the world, there are many obstacles to my righteousness, but You have made it a point to keep me from stumbling. If not for You, where would I have been? You keep my salvation secure and guaranteed. You protect me from the insurrection of evil and everything that can trouble my soul. In You, I am safe and secure, standing without fear of the day that I see You face to face. You have given me life, and this life is sustained by You. Thank You, Father, for loving me so much. Be glorified, Lord, now and forever. Amen.
