Inspiration
The angel’s words to Mary, “Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God,” offer a message of divine grace and favor. In a moment of uncertainty and great calling, God chose Mary to bear the Savior of the world. This favor wasn’t because of anything Mary had done, but because of God's sovereign will and grace. Her humble obedience to God's plan shows the power of God’s favor, which often comes in unexpected ways. For us, this verse speaks of the favor that God bestows upon those who are willing to follow His call, even when the path is unclear. It reminds us that God's favor is not based on our merit but on His love and purpose. Like Mary, we are called to trust in God's will for our lives, knowing that His favor will equip us for the tasks He calls us to.
