Inspiration
It takes strength to face challenges, and great strength to overcome them. Vicissitudes encompass our lives on a daily basis. It takes great strength to do well. But we know that humans are intrinsically deficient in this respect. When we try to be good to others or do other things that glorify God, we may fail in the end. Hence, the need for God’s strength. The Psalmist expresses how the strength from God enabled him to live a blameless life. This means that while we aspire to do all that is pleasing and acceptable to God, we must accept His strength that helps us. You will never be able to accomplish the blamelessness you seek if you don’t put God in the equation. Blamelessness infers righteousness before God. It’s the state of being at peace with God spiritually and morally. Believers have God’s Spirit who energizes us to do all that is the will of God. As Paul the apostle admonishes, we must choose to walk by the Spirit and not according to the flesh (Romans 8:5-6). The power of God for a blameless life is already released to us, and we get to enjoy its dynamism when we apply ourselves to His promptings. Every day, God’s strength is available for your preservation. This is the free gift of God to you.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing me with the ability to do what I could not otherwise do. I thank You for the quickening of the Spirit in me. By Your strength, I can do all things. By Your grace working in me, I can do every good work of righteousness every day without fail. I’m equipped with the strength of God to overcome all that the corrupt system of the world throws at me. I’m preserved by the Spirit of God and energized by God’s strength working in and through me unto the preservation of my soul. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
