Persecution is a part of the Christian life, and this verse reminds us not to fear the suffering that may come. While the enemy may attempt to cast us into trials, God has a purpose in allowing them. This verse encourages us to fear nothing that we may encounter, for God is in control. Worship becomes an act of surrender, where we acknowledge that even in the face of suffering, God is at work in us, preparing us for eternal glory. Our faith is not based on avoiding trials, but on trusting God’s presence and power to sustain us through them.
