Hebrews 3:4

Inspiration
In Hebrews, the author points out that both Jesus' person and mission are far superior to Moses'. It is not intended to diminish Moses in any way. As a matter of fact, the point is that those who view Moses as an excellent example should be more inclined to follow Jesus. The context of this verse also indicates quite clearly that Jesus Christ is, in fact, God. As God's faithful servant, Moses may have been instrumental in the construction of the Tabernacle. God used him to build Israel into a great nation and to administer hundreds of household laws that He gave them. In spite of this, the plans were devised by God. As the Creator and Builder of all things, God provided His servant with the blueprint. In Peter's words, we are living stones that are being built into a spiritual house, as well as a holy priesthood, in which we offer up spiritual sacrifices to the Lord God almighty. In addition, Paul wrote instructions to Timothy so that we may know how Christians should conduct themselves in the household of God. In fact, the Church of the living God is the pillar and support of truth.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, we are blessed to be members of the Body of Christ, which is being built up into a spiritual home with You as its Builder and Maker. Thank You for making me a child of God and building me up into a spiritual house through Your grace. It is an honor that my life has been hidden with Christ in God and that the Holy Spirit indwells me to lead and guide me. My prayer is that I may live a life that honors You. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
