Do you often remember the sermon from Sunday services a week earlier? Attending weekly bible studies is great, but do you apply what you've learned to your daily life? Although we all seem to hear well, and we often agree with what we hear, the question remains - What are we doing with the words that God is speaking to us?
Faith is a work in progress! It is impossible to grow our faith without taking action. God's word is not just for listening; it is for us to follow and act upon. We can talk to God all day long and quote as many scriptures as we want, but if we are only hearing and not applying and obeying the Word of God daily in our lives, we are just making noises and fooling ourselves. 
God doesn't care about our rituals or traditions. He wants our obedience to His commands. He wants us to not only be hearers of His Word but also doers!

Dear Heavenly Father, You have taught me so much through Your Word. I thank You for that. Please help me put all that I have learned into practice every day. Keep me grounded in Your Word and guide me to do what Your Word says. May I yield to Your instructions at all times so that I can prosper.
