Philippians 4:19

Inspiration
The Philippians generously provided Paul with financial support and sent him gifts while he was in prison. In his conclusion of thanks to the Philippians, Paul encouraged them with the confidence that God would meet their needs through their sacrifice and generosity. When we gift others, we are investing in the account we have with God, who, as our Banker, will add interest to our accounts. We are assured that God will repay our generosity according to His abundant wealth because He is pleased when we use the resources He provided for His purpose. Not only can we trust God will always meet our physical needs, but we can also trust Him with our spiritual needs. God has given us freedom through the salvation of Jesus Christ. He has sent the Holy Spirit to guide, comfort, and help us whenever and wherever we need. Because of Jesus, we have the Father as our Supplier and all God’s gifts come to us through Him. By putting our faith in Him, we can enjoy God’s abundance.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for supplying me with everything I need. Only You know what I need the most. I believe You always have my best interest at heart. Lord, open my eyes to see the many ways You are blessing me and graciously pouring the abundance into my life. I am so blessed with Your mighty love. Help me to use the resources You provided wisely and do what pleases You. In Jesus's name, I pray. Amen.
