Inspiration
Have you ever felt down in your faith? Have you ever felt like your relationship with God is not what it used to be or that you’ve started to just go through the motions? We’ve all been there. The way to get out of that place is through the truth written in God’s Word. You can have renewed courage and strength in your heart by hoping in the Lord. The very understanding of who God is and how much He loves you will renew your strength and the fire in your relationship with Him. When we take up courage despite our circumstances, we are taking a step out in faith, and God will fill us with new strength once more, regardless of where we are in our faith journey. So, as you step into a new year, be of good courage. Take a step into the new year in faith and watch as God fills you with new strength as you trust in Him for the year ahead. Hope in the Lord, and He will be with you through it all. For if God is with you, what can possibly stand against you?
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for who You are and for loving me despite who I am. Even though I wander from our relationship, I thank You for always giving me new strength and helping me to hope in You. As I step into a new year, I ask that You give me new courage to strive to be more like Your Son and to chase what it is that You are calling me to do in my life here on earth. Fill me with Your Spirit and give me all that I need to live life to the glory of Your name. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
