Inspiration
Proverbs 14:15 warns, “The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.” This verse speaks to the importance of discernment. It cautions us against naivety and blind acceptance of everything we hear. Wisdom teaches us to be discerning, to think critically, and to carefully consider our paths before making decisions. The prudent person does not rush into situations without thinking, but weighs the potential consequences and seeks God’s guidance. Discernment is a key component of wisdom, enabling us to make decisions that are in line with God’s will and avoiding paths that lead to destruction.
